I stumbled into this place called Antiques Moderne. It didn't look like much from the outside (most places on this street don't) but I immediately became overwhelmed by all the awesomeness. I will get a picture next time as words cannot accurately describe it. 20,000 square feet of Mid-century and Hollywood Regency deliciousness. The place was so packed that the workers had to move things around so you could walk. My kind of place.
Of course, most of these pieces are authentic so this isn't what I would call a thrift by any means.
I spent some time chatting with the owner about the store. He says the stuff comes in just as fast as it moves out. They have a huge inventory turnover. He has people all over the country scouting pieces for him. Wouldn't that be an amazing job?
A lot of items with sold tags on them he had just gotten in the day before. And of course they will ship anywhere.
I forgot to ask if they do layaway. Hopefully they do, I wouldn't mind investing in something good.
Now quick like a bunny go sign up for their weekly emails full of new product. You can thank me later!

YUMMY. Reason enough for me to travel to Dallas again. Or better yet, to stalk them online :)

Holy baloney, I might make my husband broke.
Wow, just looking at that website makes me drool a bit. The storage unit section alone is amazing! What a great place to have in your backyard.
