Does This Have Potential?
Some of you regular readers may know I have been struggling to find the right coffee table for my living room. In a perfect world I would have a marble top with a pedestal base. But since it's not a perfect world I have been looking at other options.
I found this on the craig the other day. Not sure if the measurements are right. But, do you think it has potential?

I love it, I would pair it up with some super modern chairs. Gold leaf the base and leave the marble as is as long as it was in good condition.

I agree with Bri... gold leaf the base! I'm thinking of doing a faux marble surface on the coffee table I already have... great minds think alike! xo

YAY! WIth a different color on the base, it could look a lot more modern!
I know I'm late to the game, but that base would NOT be easy to gold leaf. Maybe I'm just traumatized from my gold leafing experiences.
I like it, though!
B: I would do a big round ottoman with some nice modern legs on it. I think you have enough angles in the room. and it would give you extra seating and you can put a big tray on it to hold your stuff
