Who Finally Found the Most Amazing Curtain Fabric?

I purchased it from Mood fabrics while I was in NYC. My mom is coming soon to help me sew them together. Here's the picture from the website with better lighting.

I even picked out a few stripes I'd like cover my chairs with. Which stripe is your favorite?

My favorite is the large stripe but I'm not sure it will work for my chairs. I'm leaning toward the one in the center. It has a linen background like the curtains and I think it's the most cat-friendly. My cat likes to sit on the chairs underneath the table where the dogs can't annoy him.

Then I saw Leah's fabulous striped chairs on her blog over on the The Way We Are, so I emailed her about them. She said they're covered in outdoor fabric and I thought GENIUS! That would be so much more durable and affordable so I ordered a swatch of this...

Has anyone upholstered a dining chair before? How much should I expect to pay?

Here are the chairs I scored off Craigslist. All 6 for $100! I love them! I think I'm going to paint them white...

It's going to be a long process to sand them. My poor hubby, he gets the brunt of all my decor projects and he's such a good sport about it. I'm so excited that everything is coming together. This is the first time I've ever thoughtfully planned and fully executed the design for a room. I can't wait to show you the finished result!
