Like this super cute table I just got out of the trash! Check it!
It even has a little drawer on the front with this super cute handle.
It just needs a little lovin. I feel some sanding and staining coming your way my new friend...I would like to stain a little pattern in the top. Does anyone have experience with this? If I got a cool stencil and stained over it and sealed would that work or would the stain bleed under the stencil? Is there a better way to do this?
BTW this will mean both my nightstands will be trash rescues. I'm like a antique trash ninja, YAH!
Can you believe someone put this antique sewing machine out IN THE TRASH?! Oh well, one person's trash is apparently my treasure!
And thanks to my wonderful husband for stopping after I yelled something like "TABLE! TRASH! MUST GO BACK!" even though we had a car full of groceries and two dogs in the back seat.

that knob!
My dad has had this giant dresser for years and years and years. It used to sit out in our garage and hold leftover bits of halloween costumes. Now it's in his apartment full of god-knows-what, but every drawer has two or three of those lion head knobs and I have loved it ever since I was a little girl. Some day I will claim it! For the love of Pete! (fabulous find, by the way...)
Ha brillaint! I really love the top one. I'm stunned they threw it away!
Wow! Good find, as always!
Yes I can, the things I find in the trash amazes me to no end! Thanks for the mention about Romantic Homes Magazine, it is not out yet here in Australia, maybe next week.....I am yet to see it. But that was one of my secrets and exciting news I am blogging about next week. Take care xx
Um, I'm moving to your neighborhood!
WOW, what a great find. I'm incomplete agreement with you about this. I've found some fabulous pieces in road side cleanups (what we call it here in OZ). Incredible what some people throw out.
xx
