How About Some Ketchup?

Long time no see, friends. My bad...

This is going to be a stream of consciousness post. Hope you don't mind.

I'm thinking of getting this rug for my living room.

What are your thoughts?

I like the black and white of course. But I can't have too much white because, animals. Plus there's a pattern but it's still subtle. Since I have a lot going on with art and pillows and stuff.

I'm considering this coffee table. It's only $30. It probably needs to be painted. It's not my dream coffee table but until I can afford that I need something.

Not sure what color I would paint it.

I'm thinking of this fabric for curtains in the living room. I think the black would feel quite dramatic. It's a nice silk dupioni with embroidered quatrefoil.
I got the Docksta table for my breakfast nook like I wanted. Found it on the craig for $100. Score!

I can't get this image out of my mind. Wouldn't it be awesome to find another one and do this?! Wouldn't it!!!

Husband thinks he could build a floating bench like so. The man is a winner.

Did a little fabric shopping last weekend. Childress was full of awesome. These large scale chevrons were quite nice. Full disclosure: I don't like chevron. I know, I know. It's just not for me but I do appreciate it.

This fabric was so gorgeous. Light colored base with a beautiful blush pink pattern. It feels a bit modern to me. Not too expensive either, I think it was $18/yard. Considering it as curtains for my office.

You can see the fabric I'm looking at for LR curtains below in another colorway.

Also I dyed my hair red and I have bangs now. Not a great pic but it's the best I've gotten so far.

I was ready for a change from my au-natural brown, lovely as it was!

Also I'm on instagram now, follow me brandi_fow!

And...where do you ladies like to shop for bikinis? I decided not to buy a cheap one from Target for the millionth time. But now I don't know where to look! Help!

So, what's up with you?

Oh, and Happy Valentine's Day Lovers!

I love the rug and the fabrics you've found. And I'm sure you've already purchased the coffee table since I'm so late in posting here... so YES! I think its great... and a little paint and a poly coat to make it shine will be awesome. And you look amazing. I love the bangs... super cute!

It's funny you say you don't like chevron when it's your blog background. ;)

Like the curtain idea, don't like the coffee table. Hold out for something that makes you excited!

seriously. buy the dark rug. and make those curtains.

i know that i'm the queen of darkness so i'm a little biased to them but i seriously think they'll punch up the drama factor for your living room.

also, get that coffee table while i'm spending your money. you may not have to do anything to it if you get the rug.

xoxo love the hair!

I have bangs now too! For me it is a godsend b/c it coveres the grey hair around my hairline! Unlike our dear friend Court, I am not liking the black. You have all those pretty colors in there so why black? Blck rug and curtains...that is alot of black so I say no. LOVE the coffee table, is it big enough round? And easy to make into ottoman if you want to do that. I would sit with the wood finish for awhile. Maybe stain it a richer wood. This coming from someone who wants to paint everything. However, I find wood grounds a room and gives it a richness (if you have a nice stain/finish on it). AND YES! would love to have my daughter touch base with your friend the performer. And I love those two bases with the big table top!

I love the red hair. I've been dying my red until recently, I'm in a wedding in a couple of months and the dress is bright pink. I figured it might help if I didn't clash so hard on the bride's big day. Haha!
